One of our newest pieces of equipment at Total Chiropractic Care is the Magnesphere. This FDA approved magnetic resonance therapy system helps reduce both chronic pain and chronic stress. Stress can be a significant source of health problems. For example, it can cause lack of sleep and can contribute to weight gain, pain, and inflammation.
The magnesphere helps patients reduce stress, through the use of magnetic fields. During the one-hour treatment, the strength of these magnetic fields will be adjusted between 5 to 15 to maximize your relaxation response in your muscles, tissues, bones, and nerves.
Cold Laser Therapy
When you think of lasers, you might think of devices that use heat to cut through substances, but that’s not the type of laser we use at Total Chiropractic Care. We use cold lasers that reduce swelling. This non-invasive treatment is painless. You will feel our laser device touch your skin, but it won’t be hot, and it won’t hurt. The cold laser therapy helps reduce swelling and relieves pain by releasing endorphins. When you undergo the treatment, low-level light will be applied to the area that we’re targeting. Your body will absorb the red and near-infrared light, which will promote regeneration in damaged areas.
